Privacy Policy

1. Core Principle: Local Data Storage

The App follows a local-first data principle. The following data is stored on your local device and is not uploaded to our servers:

• Chat history - all conversations between you and AI models, stored in a SQLite database in your local Mac directory.
• AI model configuration - selected AI providers, model preferences, sorting settings, and related configuration.
• API keys - API keys you configure for AI providers, encrypted in macOS Keychain and protected by the operating system.
• App settings - window position, shortcut configuration, font size, appearance preferences, and other personalized settings.
• Attachments - images and files you upload in conversations, stored locally together with the related chat records.

2. Account and Sign-In

The App supports sign-in with a Google account or Apple account. The sole purpose of sign-in is to distinguish user identity so that we can provide separate data storage for each user.

During sign-in, we obtain the following necessary information:

• A unique user identifier, used to distinguish users.
• Email address.
• Nickname and avatar, if available.

This information is used only for account identification and interface display. It is not used for advertising, user profiling, or any commercial purpose. Authentication tokens are encrypted and stored locally in macOS Keychain.

3. Third-Party AI Services

The App supports multiple third-party AI service providers, including but not limited to DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), Meta (Llama), Qwen, Kimi, Doubao, MiniMax, Zhipu, Tencent Hunyuan, OpenRouter, and custom APIs.

When you start a conversation:

• Your prompt, conversation context, and attachments, if any, are sent to the AI service provider you select for processing.
• We do not additionally intercept, store, or analyze your conversation content during transmission.
• Each AI service provider processes your data under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing the relevant provider policies.

Your API keys are always stored locally in macOS Keychain and are not uploaded to our servers.

4. Clipboard Features

The App provides an "auto-reference selected text" feature. When enabled, copied text from other apps can be automatically used as conversation context.

• This feature requires you to explicitly grant macOS Accessibility permission; it does not run without authorization.
• Only plain text content is captured. Images, files, and other binary data are not read.
• Captured text is stored only in app memory and is not additionally persisted.
• You can turn this feature off in settings at any time.

5. Local Large Models (OpenClaw)

The App supports connecting to large language models running on your local device through the OpenClaw protocol. When this feature is used, all processing happens locally on your device and does not pass through external network transmission.

6. Information We May Collect

To continue improving the product experience, we may in the future collect coarse-grained anonymous usage data such as:

• App usage duration.
• Conversation turn counts.
• Feature usage frequency.

We make the following commitments:

• This data is used only to understand product usage and improve user experience. It will never include conversation content or sensitive personal information.
• We will never sell, rent, or provide this data to third parties in any form.
• We will never disclose user data.
• Before formally enabling any data collection feature, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you.

As of the publication date of this policy, the App does not integrate any third-party analytics or tracking services.

7. Information We Do Not Collect

We explicitly commit that we do not collect the following information:

• Your conversation content and chat history.
• Your files and document contents.
• Your AI service API keys.
• Your precise location information.
• Your address book or contacts.
• Your browsing history or app usage records.

8. System Permissions

The App may request the following macOS system permissions:

• Accessibility permission - used for global shortcut listening and selected text capture. You may revoke this permission in System Settings at any time.
• Network access - used to communicate with your selected AI service providers and verify account sign-in.

9. Data Security

We take the following measures to protect your data:

• Sensitive information, including API keys and authentication tokens, is encrypted and stored in macOS Keychain.
• Communication with backend services is encrypted over HTTPS.
• Each user's chat data is stored in a separate database and isolated from other users.
• After sign-out, authentication tokens and cached data are cleared.

Because data is primarily stored on your local device, we recommend enabling macOS FileVault disk encryption and using a device password to further protect data security.

10. Data Deletion

You may delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual conversations or all chat records in the App.
• Clearing API key configuration in the App.
• Uninstalling the App and deleting the local data directory.

11. Protection of Minors

The App is not intended for minors under the age of 18. If we discover that personal information of a minor has been collected without guardian consent, we will delete the relevant data immediately.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If there are material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices. Continued use of the App means you agree to the revised Privacy Policy.
